Thanks for visiting our page and considering us for your special occasion.
New owner Catherine here (that's me on the right).
I am hugely excited about this new venture and looking forward to being part of your special occassion.
It has been a family affair from the beginning, with daughter in law's dad building the frame and shell in his workshop in Putaruru, in May/June, 2018. Once she was road worthy, she was then towed down to Hawke's Bay for the bar fit out!
Son Scotty and wife Monique (nickname Squeak - hence the name!), worked throughout a chilly Hawkes Bay winter, to bring to you this built for purpose, traveling bar. It is very spacious, with enough room for 3 people to comfortably serve out of, and can hold enough liquor to keep you going until the wee small hours.
Although the caravan is newish - it is filled with history. They used recycled native timber from the original cattle yards Scotty's grandad built in the 1960s to build the beautiful bench tops. The other native wood used was pulled from a swamp on the family farm and is believed to be between 1000 and 6000 years old!!
It is VERY special to us and an absolute one off!
Family life has since kicked in for Scotty and Monique, and the opportunity to keep the dream alive was too good to resist.
I have a band of wonderful willing helpers to help when needed, and we like to think we offer a relaxed, fun vibe to any occassion.
We cant wait to meet you, and share with you, just how special Bubbles with Squeak is.
